Linen & Lintel is a small, independent publication about the homes we live in. We cover the practical side of design — lighting, layout, color, storage and seasonal changes — with a preference for simple, lasting solutions over quick trends.

The name comes from two things every good room needs: soft textiles and solid structure.

Freya Holm. Architect turned writer. Thinks most rooms need fewer things and better light.
